We are thrilled to be joining forces with The Refuge, curating a special cosmic collaboration on Easter weekend (Sunday 1st April) for all families, with science experiments and intergalactic interactive children’s entertainment throughout the day.
Our Kids Social will host “I am the Eggman”, in The Den and Waterhouse Way, a psychedelic egg hunt for children of all ages, from 10.30am-11.30am, followed by an interactive, family silent disco from 11:30am-12:30pm.
Whilst the afternoon session, from 2pm – 4.30pm, will be a family disco, run by the Playhouse Project and soundtrack by Lil’ Fi from The Whip, with special moves from the Bluedot Electron Robot, part of the Elixir Circus crew, who will be on hand to teach kids how to robot and rave.
Later that day, Bluedot will host a Sounds from Space talk and Q&A, led by Tim O Brien, Associate Director of Jodrell Bank Centre for Astrophysics in the basement, then Tim will head into the evening in the public bar, where he will take over the decks playing a cosmic inspired set list, followed by Richard Norris, who works in partnership alongside Erol Alkan as the highly influential duo Beyond The Wizard’s Sleeve, and who recorded two albums as a solo artist as The Time and Space Machine.
We hope to see you there!
