We are thrilled to announce that we have raised over £2,700 for Goostrey Scouts – one of the charities bluedot chose to support this year. 

The money will go towards a brand new Scout Hut & Youth Centre.

David Giles, Group Scout Leader said: “Goostrey Scouts were honoured to be named as one of the four chosen charities of the Bluedot music and science festival held at Jodrell Bank and delighted to receive a most generous cheque for more than £2,700 from the organisers.”

Ben Robinson, Festival Director at bluedot said: “We are keen to support local community initiatives, and were happy to make a donation to the Scouts’ ambitious project to build a new Scout Hut and Youth Centre for local young people.”
